We first started to to bed bug work about 10 years ago in 2005 as Akita pest control but before that I had very minimal training at a large pest control company that I worked for simply because it was just very new. Once Akita opened its doors we dove strait into becoming the best bedbug service that anyone can perform while still keeping the prices low but still making a profit. We became so good at providing a efficient, through bed bug treatment that we were always able to guarantee our work and do our work at a much cheaper price. In many cases we were three times cheaper and more affordable than other pest control companies. We did this while still offering a guarantee. We knew that we could get more revenue by just asking but we did not. Today many of the market prices have come down closer to we have always been. We are proud that we have always chose to keep our prices fair and honest because it has in turn caused us to gain many repeat customers by showing them that we are trusted.
The bedbug problems started off by maybe doing one bedbug treatment a month in it’s early days. Now we sometimes will perform eight bed bug jobs per day. The numbers are increasing every year and according to the pest control industry leaders, researchers and entomologist this will continue to grow. There is also rumors of the pest control products being used now might not work so well in the future since bedbugs are very good building resistance, that’s why they have made such a strong come back.
