Where They Like to Hide
Bed bugs are active at night. In the daytime, they hide in crack in floors, walls, furniture, and bed. In cases of minor infestations, bed bugs will live close to sleeping areas. In more severe cases, bed bugs might be found in other rooms.
Why They’re a Problem
While bed bugs are not known to carry disease, they can give bites that lead to irritated skin, itching, and discomfort. Burning sensations on the skin are also common. The discomfort from bed bug bites can last a week or longer.
