We Take the Worry Out of Wasp Control

Our wasp exterminator technicians treat all kinds of stinging insects in the wasp family, including yellowjackets, mud daubers, and hornets. These insects all have bad reputations, and getting stung by one of them is not only painful, it’s particularly problematic if you’re allergic. For some it can even be fatal.

Many different types of stinging insects can be threats around your home, and, unfortunately, they can be difficult to treat safely on your own.

If you have an active wasp problem, don’t reach for a baseball bat and a garden hose to knock down a nest. Save yourself an unexpected trip to the emergency room and a surprise date with an Epipen, and call us for professional wasp removal. We even offer same-day service for urgent issues.

Why Wasps Sting

One key reason we advise against removing a wasp nest on your own is that being in close proximity to a nest is a direct threat and is most often the cause of their stinging. Wasps are very protective of their homes and will strike to defend them. A common misunderstanding about wasps is that they die after stinging, but this isn’t true. A single wasp can sting multiple times, and unlike bees, they do not leave behind a stinger.

How We Treat Wasps & Wasp Nests

Upon arrival, our pest control technician will consult with you about the location of the nest, and then get started by knocking down any activity around the nest.

Once activity dies down, the technician will treat the nest with a liquid or powder, and then remove the nest and further treat the area with a substance that prevents the wasps from returning.

The technician will finish by inspecting the remainder of your property to check for other nests you may not know are there.

“After trying many commercial services, I regret not finding Akita sooner! We initially had our house treated for wasps and when they didn’t go away, Akita came back out without a question to make sure we were satisfied. This experience was so good we decided to do quarterly insect treatments with them. All communication regarding this process and service visits has been beyond great and very professional. I wish we would’ve found them sooner!”
